Alexander Griffin's portfolio consists of plaster casts and original work.

​

1 - He creates his plaster casts from a variety of objects / artefacts, all of which he selects to work with primarily based on their architectural / sculptural form, or for their rarity, uniqueness or allusions.

​

2 - The original work that Alexander creates currently comprises plaster pieces designed and made to be both functional and ornamental. The focus of the present work is to distil and reference themes from various historic design periods, while taking pure geometry as a guiding / defining principle. The resulting works are intended to resonate with both modern and period interiors. Every piece is designed, made and finished by hand. The current collection includes mirrors and lighting.
